I didn't quite expect her to react the way she did. The way things function here complicated matters just a bit.

I suppose I can't disagree, considering the results... It really would have been simpler to just target her.

I wanted to ensure someone I could work with was available as a partner, rather than leaving that fully up to chance. Killing her on top of that would add another partnerless person before we even voted, reducing my chance of being paired-- and instead of knowing I'd be safe if I wasn't caught, I'd be at risk either way.

Of course there was always a risk I'd die if she were successfully framed, too... I can't deny that when I found Xion was left partnerless along with Minato, I was concerned for my survival if Four were to be executed.

It's true that people probably would've been more inclined to save her over you.
