this has definitely been A Weekend, and following mary's death... he's just sort of around more than doing anything with much purpose to it, half-observing, half just taking a little time for himself.
company's not unwelcome at all, though; he glances up when he notices he's no longer alone in the garden, giving shess a slight nod.]
I suppose we've learned a bit more, but it's hardly been a pleasant weekend, has it. I hope you're holding up well enough?
[shess doesn't seem like the type to freak out, so.]
[I used the garden last time so! this time shirasu finds shess in the air area; it's a place he happens to like as well, and he looks fairly relaxed as he offers shess a slight wave.]
I hope you've had a chance to rest and have those injuries seen to, after all the excitement yesterday.
Well, first the girl in that device dropped out of the sky. Then she asked that we help her into the car, as we were about to be attacked and had to escape the area.
It looked a little like what Ookurikara was riding. We managed to avoid its attacks for the most part, but there was collateral damage when we blew it up, and Namine was occupied.
[when shess enters, shirasu watches him a little warily from where he's just chilling on the bed, and the white cat with him ducks beneath the covers to avoid him. a tuxedo one comes up to inspect him, though, and there's a tiny owl perched somewhere to snooze.]
Is there something you want?
[honestly, he just assumes this of most people who come by.]
Unfortunately not. I don't own any weapons at the moment.
[which is fair enough considering he stabbed a man, but-- that won't stop him from sounding a little annoyed. being unarmed when people probably want you dead? kinda sucks.]
[shirasu takes a moment to read over it, and just exhales a sigh.]
If that did actually come from him, then he certainly never told me-- but I've heard from him as well, and he's said nothing about it. I would have expected to hear something.
At any rate, the only things I have currently are personal possessions. She was quite thorough.

I am. And you?

[a faint sigh, there.]
I don't exactly relish having implicated her, but that is what it is.

Someone was going to have to, sooner or later. It's unfortunate, but the truth is rarely kind.
no subject
I'll just hope the others feel the same.
[he's not out to be grudged on because he did it, thanks.]
I'd like to say I hope that's all there is to it, but such things are rarely that easy.

[he's still not discounting anyone's ability to spread a grudge out, but also: thanks for the stab effort, milla.]
I'm curious-- after seeing how yesterday went, what do you think our chances are of agreeing on what to do, in this place?

[a brief, thoughtful pause, before:]
Likely part of the point of not letting our guides interfere too much.

I have, yes.

What happened to you two after we left, though? That was quite a machine you arrived with.

Shirasu? Can I come in?
no subject
[when shess enters, shirasu watches him a little warily from where he's just chilling on the bed, and the white cat with him ducks beneath the covers to avoid him. a tuxedo one comes up to inspect him, though, and there's a tiny owl perched somewhere to snooze.]

first, though, he's going to crouch down to pet the cat, because this is clearly more important than shirasu. writing with his free hand, though:]
Did Hisoka give you his gun?
no subject
[which is fair enough considering he stabbed a man, but-- that won't stop him from sounding a little annoyed. being unarmed when people probably want you dead? kinda sucks.]
no subject
[shess can't help you with that, bro. well, technically he can, but he won't.]
I suppose you're under no obligation to answer, but do you know anything about this?
[he takes out his phone and shows shirasu the message he received.
Shirasu might have something important in his pockets. It's not the end of the world if missing but if he has it I'd like you to have it.
I win. (🌟◠‿◠💧)]

May I ask what he's said to you?
no subject
[he expected no less of hisoka, but still. also that is so cursed let shirasu survive if only so they never meet again]
